Nurin's Swimming Lesson

I'm very, very proud of you. Today, you are 5 years, 8 months and 4 days but you have learnt and achieved a lot.

You are able and dare to swim in adult swimming pool without float. If you remember correctly the first time we went to swimming pool about 3 years ago, I wouldnt believe that you will be what you are today. At that time you don't even want to let go of my hand. You wil make sure that we carry you everytime we were inside the pool. The problem is, you do not like to use floats!. But, water is one of you favourites.

Until one time, I think somewhere December 2008/January 2009, either you go for swimming lesson or we won't go swimming again. Left with no choice, you started learn to swim from Teacher Atuk Salleh.

So, that's the beginning of our new routine. You will be having lesson twice a week. Either me or ayah will sent you for class @ Bangsar Swimming Complex. We did spent quite a lot to ensure that you are able to swim as 8 hours class cost us Rm250.

You are so frighten during the first few hours of lesson. But, after 15 hours of training, your hard work began to show results. Of course, initially it was the easy style.

Since then, it's been a year. Along the way, there are times you did not have class. It's either i'm busy, or it's raining season, you are not feeling well or you just not in the mood to learn. So many reasons for not to have class!.

You are now learning the free style after so much pestering and pleading. It's not that I do not want to listen to you but, now is the best time for you to learn. I hope one day you will understand sayang.

Like Teacher Atuk said, you are now in the mood to learn. This makes it easier for you to understand the lesson. After only two hours of class I can already see the improvement. As i have already promise, we'll stop swimming lesson once you able to swim free style.
